Classroom Happenings! 10/15-10/19
Our class has earned 10, yes TEN, Outstanding Rewards since the beginning of the school year. Each time we earn 10 Outstanding Rewards the kids will be treated to some extra time doing some class team building experience that they vote for.
This first time they have decided to have an electronics day. We will take a chunk of our day on Friday and let the kids use their electronics in the classroom. Please take care of what you choose to send in for them. The school will not be responsible for the safety of equipment, but I will lock up anything brought to school in the classroom for the day.
We have already talked about this as a class, but if you have any additional questions please email me.
Miscellaneous:
- School Pictures are being sent home today.
- Reading Homework- One hundred minutes each week. Please have your child log their reading minutes each day and return the log on Mondays.
- Math Homework- MobyMax Mondays through Thursdays for 5 minutes. If your child is still working on subtraction, please increase their homework time so they can move forward with multiplication & division fact fluency.
- October 12- Early Release, 12:15 dismissal
- October 21- Hudsonville Coloring Page Due
- October 23- Turkey Trot @ 5:00
- October 30- Picture Retakes
- October 31-Halloween Party @ 1:15-2:00. A lead parent is organizing this year’s party. Only parents that are working at the party are to come to the classroom to help. Also, background checks are required for all volunteers. If you are unsure if you have completed your background check feel free to email me and I will check for you. Thank you for your understanding as we try to keep parking issues to a minimum.
