Miscellaneous:
- BE NICE…it’s the week to focus on how to be an UP-STANDER. Be nice slideshow we will be discussing this week. Be Nice
- October 23- Turkey Trot @ 5:00
- October 30- Picture Retakes
- October 31-Halloween Party @ 1:15-2:00. Plan to send in your child’s costume. They will be changing into their costumes after lunch just before their party starts.
- November 2– Early Dismissal, 12:15 dismissal
- November 5 & 7– Parent Teacher Conferences
Word Study: Feature focus, Long “i”
Writing: Persuasive Essays
Social Studies: Michigan’s Geography (physical and human features)
Math: Multiplication & Divison with 6’s, 7’s & 8’s and multiples of 10.
Reading: Character Traits (reading aloud Winn Dixie)
We presented math word problems on Friday, had our celebratory electronic time, and had cupcakes with Josh and watched HPS football highlights. 🙂 Below are videos of the student presentation and a couple candid photos from Friday.
