Thursday Fun Day!

A week of excitement coming up as the kids anticipate the holiday break.

Thursday, December 20 we will be having ur Polar Express Party 9:15 -10:30  We are planning crafts, games, and snacks related to the Polar Express theme and will be combining all of the 3rd-grade classes. The kids should wear their pajama’s and slippers on this day.

At lunchtime, we will be eating in our classroom. Brecken bought a coupon from the class store for the class to eat together and we thought this would be a great day for it. The kids may still order a hot lunch if they’d like, but a sack lunch might be fun too!

Also, the kids have been working hard to earn OUTSTANDING certificates to get a special reward afternoon. Well, they did it! So, we talked about what we wanted to do and this is what they came up with.

Forts- They may bring in a blanket to construct a fort. They may also bring in a stuffed animal if they would like. During their fort time, they will be doing quiet shared reading and they want to be cozy. If they want to pack an additional healthy snack they may also have it at this time. 🙂

Electronics- They may bring in an electronic device to play with after recess. If they choose to do this they will be responsible for taking care of it. The school will not have any responsibility for lost or broken devices, so take care of what you choose to send in.
