Classroom Lunch-Ordering Pizza

WE. ARE. AWESOME!

Our class has earned 32 Outstanding awards! Each time we accumulate ten Outstandings we vote on what teambuilding activity we would like to do.

This time we voted to have lunch together in our classroom on Thursday, February 14. I offered to collect money and order pizza for those who would like to have pizza brought in. Pizza will be $1.00 per slice and your child may order two slices if they choose to. I will be ordering on Wednesday at the end of the day so please have money sent in by then. 🙂

Below is a link I would like every parent to fill out so I know how to plan for the kids.

Thursday’s Plan & Order Form

Please have your children bring in their choice of beverage and pack their usual snack for the day. Sack lunch and ordering hot lunch is always an option if your child does not want to order pizza.

Camp Reminders/Check-In Procedures

DON’T FORGET!!!

  • Bring a sack lunch  with your child’s name and teachers name on it.
  • Your child’s name must be clearly marked on luggage, sleeping bag and pillow.  Masking tape works really well for this.
  • All medication must be in its original container.
  • No electronic devices.
  • Any cash brought to camp is the responsibility of the camper.

Check In/Check Out

Drop your child off between 8:45 and 9:00 at the circle drive in the front of the school. (inside if it is raining or cold)  PLEASE do not arrive earlier.  We need to allow time for k-4 grade students to arrive using the  normal drop off procedures at the circle drive.

LOOK for your child’s teacher upon arrival so they can check your child in, and mark them as in attendance.  Please do each of these steps to properly and safely check in your child before you leave.

  • Medication drop off– Any medication to be administered needs to be in its original container, clearly marked with your child’s name.  An adult will cross check to make sure all medication left is listed on the med form you sent in giving written permission to administer medication.
  • Lunch Check In– A volunteer will check for a teachers & student’s name on the lunch  and place your child’s lunch in the appropriate box.
  • Tagging Luggage– A colored tape will be placed on your child’s luggage to help identify it upon arrival at camp.
  • Luggage Drop Off– Luggage will be given to volunteers to load and take to camp.

* Plan on being back at Georgetown Elementary at 1:45 on Friday, May 22 to pick up your TIRED camper.   🙂

Middle School Visit

Originally we were going to send home information about our Baldwin Middle School visit on Friday, but we have received the information early and decided to send it home today.

Look for two letters in your child’s mail today.  One is information about eating lunch when visiting and the other is a schedule of our day.
