One of our Georgetown students is collecting toys for Toys For Tots. Ainslee Tomaszewski has a goal of collecting 155 toys and we have received 62 as of Monday. These toys will go to families who are having difficulty affording gifts this year.
Please bring your unwrapped gift to school by Thursday, December 8!
Next week will only be a 2-day school week. Thanksgiving break will begin on Wednesday, November 27.
We will have a Toys for Tots box in the school library for our school wide service project. We will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for kids until December 12th.
Watch for our Be Nice-Be Safe pledge to come home for your signature and then be returned to school next week.
We have wrapped up our reading and writing units and will be having our writing celebrations next week.
