Happy St. Patricks Day!

🍀 Dear Parents,

I am attaching a PDF document here and as a link to the right of this blog post for you to have easy access to the great learning activities and links that our administrators put together for our kids.

1-Learning Resources

Please remember that all the activities I post are optional and the practice of material previously taught. So, in the spirit of this, I will not assign a Friday’s Quiz. I will continue to guide you through the material that was sent home to help you navigate the materials. Do what’s best for your family and I will support you as best I can from my home. Via email, I will share links to answer keys for the grammar pages and scholastic news as I get them loaded. I will also post them here.

Tomorrow we will have our first Google Meet Session for our class. Below are instructions on how this can be done. This is a video conference so you may have to help your child turn on the camera function of their device. Also, please remind them that it will be like the classroom if it is to be successful, we need to take turns speaking and be respectful to whoever is given permission to talk next. I’m excited to see their faces and hear their voices. If for some reason your child is not able to participate this time that is perfectly fine. We will schedule more meetings.

Instructions for Google & Google Meet

Mrs. Bretz did a great job getting us instructions and our recorders home. Today she shared a YouTube site with more guidance for our blooming musicians. Recorder Fun!

For my many, many artists in our classroom here is a YouTube subscription you might want to visit to express that creative side of yourselves. I believe he is live at 1:00 but you subscribe to his channel and revisit his videos at your leisure. Remember our 1st Google Meet is at this time tomorrow and would hate to miss you!  Mo Willems!

I also came across these virtual field trips! I can’t wait to check a few of these out too! Virtual Field Trips

I also LOVE seeing the pictures you are sending me of the kids. My goal is to continue to post those here so we all can continue to feel connected.
